Immigration New Zealand (INZ) is not currently processing visas for most individuals who are offshore, unless they meet the strict border exception criteria or are currently in a COVID-19 quarantine-free travel (QFT) zone.

This is because legally INZ is unable to grant visas to individuals who are unlikely to meet entry requirements.

Students need a New Zealand student visa to study at Kerikeri High School. Your English ability will be assessed when you start school and you will be put into an appropriate ESOL class (English for Speakers of Other Languages). These classes are taught by a qualified ESOL teacher and cover the New Zealand English curriculum. You will take all other classes alongside the New Zealand students.
